Delivery & Set Up
Delivery and setup is included in our quoted prices for all events located within a 20 km radius of Townsville CBD, Qld.
We can and do travel to locations outside of Townsville, however please contact us for an individual delivery quote as each location will have a different travel surcharge.
As transport costs increase, we appreciate your understanding that whilst we endeavour to keep our fees as low as possible, it is not viable for us to absorb such increases.

The Pastel bounce and slide combo comes with a small slide off to the side, and approximately 5mx5m of bounce spaces with a large pillow at the front, and an enclosed roof. This castle is ideal for ages 10 and under!

Are you insured and carry Public Liability Insurance?
Yes, we are fully insured and carry public liability, a certificate of currency will be provided upon request wherever required by law.
Do you deliver and set up?
Yes! We deliver, set-up, and pack-up your chosen inflatable; and you don’t have to lift a finger! Our insurance requires us to do this, which means that unfortunately, you’re unable to pick up and/or set up your chosen inflatable yourself.
All listed prices include delivery and setup, however, please note that a travel surcharge may be applicable if you live outside of the immediate Townsville area. Contact us for an individual quote.
Are your castles clean?
Yes, our castles are cleaned thoroughly, and regularly. We take measures to ensure all castles are vacuumed and sanitised after use, in order to uphold a safe, healthy and hygienic environment.
We also expect that you help to keep our castles in good condition by ensuring that no food or drinks are consumed on the inflatable, and any debris is removed prior to collection.
A cleaning surcharge of $100 will apply if there is found to be dirt/food etc. on the castle at the end of your hire period, as per your hire agreement.
We appreciate your assistance in keeping our castles clean, and costs down.
How long does it take to set up the Castle?
For our smaller castles, please allow approximately 20-30 minutes to assemble and 15-20 minutes to dismantle and pack up. It may take longer to setup and pack up depending on pathways, steps, and any other obstacles i.e. rear access, yard size, etc. If you have rear access to your property, it is MOST helpful if you’re able to make this accessible to us.
Our waterslides take a little longer, needing approximately 45 minutes for both the set up, and pack up.
Does someone need to supervise while the Castle is in operation?
A responsible person over the age of 18 must supervise the castle at all times, the adult person must not be under influence of alcohol or any other substance.
Can we hire an inflatable for an indoor venue or in a public space or park?
Absolutely!
Townsville has many options to hold an indoors event, and due to our extreme weather conditions throughout the months November – April, whereby heat and rainfall can impact your event, and potentially lead to a cancellation or delay – we would certainly encourage this option where possible.
If you wish to hold your event in a public space, you will need to contact Townsville City Council and seek the relevant approvals and permits. You will be liable for all costs associated with this. If TCC requires Townsville Inflatables to complete a risk assessment or any other necessary paperwork, there will be a $50 administrative fee charged to your invoice in addition to your hire fee.
You will need to ensure that there are appropriate power connections available at your desired space. If a generator is required, you will need to reach out and let us know, and we will advise on availability for this. A $50 charge for generator use will be applied.
If you go ahead with your event at a public space, and there is no electricity, you will forfeit 100% of your booking fee.

Do you offer half day hire periods?
Our typical hire period for our dry inflatables, is 6 hours of guaranteed play time. If this does not suit you, and you would like a shorter hire period, this is more than okay; HOWEVER, the standard hire rate will still apply. This is due to the fact that the transportation, delivery and setup, labour, insurance, and cleaning costs remain the same for us, irrespective of whether we provide you with 2 hours of use, or 6. This ensures that you are getting value for your money.
Our waterslides are hired for a period of 6 hours. Our setup and pack-up times are in addition to the 6 hours to ensure that you get maximum play time.
How do you secure your inflatables to ensure they are safe?
FOR OUTDOOR EVENTS, ALL of our inflatables MUST be secured to the ground (dirt/grass) with steel pegs that we supply. This is a safety requirement and is dictated by our insurers.
We cannot, and will not, set up an inflatable on a hard surface. If you do not have an appropriately sized space whereby the steel pegs can be secured into the ground, then we cannot continue with your hire, and 100% of your hire fee will be lost if you fail to ensure your desired space is suitable.
FOR INDOOR EVENTS, despite common belief, the inflatable is still required to be secured for safety reasons. We do this by using sandbags that we supply.
Weather conditions will also dictate our events, and windspeed is a factor in whether we are able to continue with your hire for safety reasons. If we have to cancel an event due to wind, then our standard cancellation policy for wet weather will be applied.
Do you offer overnight hire?
Yes! We do offer overnight hire, for an additional cost of $75. Our castles are collected by 5pm in Winter, and 6pm in Summer. Should you require collection after this time, it will be considered an overnight hire, and pick up will be organised for 8am the following day.
Most castles after an overnight hire, will require additional cleaning, and drying – particularly in the wet season, hence the additional charge.
We also offer full weekend hire rates – contact us for more details, as this price will vary depending on which inflatable you’ve selected.
Do you hire out on public holidays and during school holidays?
Yes! We do charge an additional 15% for hires on public holidays, however there is no additional charge for school holidays. Please get in touch for an individual quote.
Tell me about your Outdoor Cinema Hire!?
What is it?
Our cinema is centered around a huge 3m free-standing, sealed inflatable screen, paired with an ultra-bright HD 4K compatible projector. Lastly, a high powered 2.1 channel sound system is added to bring a full immersive viewing experience to your back yard. We transform your space into a funky outdoor cinema with funky throw rugs, inflatable seating for 10 people, cushions, tables and candles.
What does it cost?
Our full package, including delivery, setup, pack up is $600. Our AV only package is $400, and our AV package with 10 camp chairs is $500. Additional costs may apply for longer hire, and travel outside of our standard Townsville radius.
Do you provide the movies?
Unfortunately, due to copyright laws we cannot provide any media for viewing on our screen. However, we can provide your choice of Google Chromecast, Amazon Firestick or a BluRay player for you to use with your home WiFi and streaming service accounts.
How much space to I need?
The minimum space requirements are 5.5m x 4m for optimum viewing. Don’t have that much room? Just reach out and we can work something out for you.
How does the hire work?
Upon receiving your confirmed booking we’ll contact you about your site and plans for media viewing. We’ll arrive at your premises just before sunset (approx 5:30-6pm) to ensure you’re set to go as the sun goes down. Your hire continues until 11pm and additional fees are applicable beyond that time.
What about the weather?
We check the forecast up until the date of your hire and will plan accordingly, but if you do encounter poor weather, we ask that you immediately bring the electrical components under cover to prevent damage. Hirers are responsible for all equipment during a hire period.
If poor weather is forecast for your event, it may be decided that we cannot risk equipment damage and your booking must be rescheduled to another suitable date pending availability. Your deposit can be transferred to that date but is nonrefundable for cancellations.
What if I encounter trouble during a hire?
If you have trouble we can troubleshoot over the phone or if necessary, send a technician to fix your problem.
How can the cinema be used?
The sky is the limit!
- We can project a slide show of pictures for a birthday or wedding with accompanying music
- Sports! Watch the North Queensland Cowboys light up the field.
- Connect your own gaming console for GIANT gaming.
- Use our microphone with the sound system for Karaoke!
- Use our sound system with funky projected graphics for a dance party.
Can we have face paint at our event?
Unfortunately, no.
We do not permit face paint on any of our products. If you are having face paint at your event, we recommend that you contact another Inflatable company.
Face paint can permanently stain our products and requires extensive cleaning with potential lasting effects.
If any evidence of face paint is found on any of our products, unfortunately you may be liable for cleaning, damages and additional costs.
Do you require a deposit?
We require a $50 deposit at the time of booking for any dry inflatable, and $100 for our waterslides and inflatable cinema.
This is a non-refundable deposit to secure your preferred date and inflatable. If for any reason you need to reschedule your booking, your deposit can be held for a future booking, so long as you provide more than 7 days’ notice of this change.
For any cancellation, the deposit is nonrefundable due to the administration involved in taking your booking, as well as any potential booking that we may have missed as a result.
The balance of your account can be paid via bank deposit, or cash payment on the day.
Cleaning Bond
TO HELP KEEP OUR PRICES LOW, WE NEED YOU TO HELP KEEP OUR CASTLES CLEAN.
Unfortunately, we do require a $100 cleaning bond prior to your booking, which is fully refundable within 24 hours once we have determined that there has been no damage, or excess dirt/debris within the inflatable.
We do our best to ensure our inflatables, and products, are kept in good, clean condition for your use. We ask that you do the same for our next customer.
The $100 cleaning bond will be invoiced to you and required to be paid prior to your event.
Please note that if there are damages beyond this amount, we will retain your cleaning bond, and you will be invoiced for any additional charges after your event, as per our hire agreement.
Do you offer Afterpay?
Unfortunately, we don’t offer Afterpay, as there are associated costs that we would then have to pass on to the customer, and we aim to keep our prices low and competitive.
We DO however allow you to pay your chosen castle off over time (leading up to your event) with installments that suit you. Please reach out to us if you’d like to discuss this option.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation Policy
A $50 deposit (dry inflatables), and $100 deposit (waterslides/cinema/luxe castles) is required within 48 hours of your booking request to secure your booking. If this deposit is not received within this timeframe, your booking has not been secured, unless otherwise communicated. This deposit will be held in the event of any cancellation, or failure to pay the balance of the account by the due date. We understand that circumstances can change and will work with you to move your deposit to a future booking, if you reschedule your event date with more than 7 days’ notice of your scheduled event.
The following cancellation policy applies should you choose to proceed with a cancellation of your scheduled event.
7+ days prior to your event; deposit held; balance refunded.
5-7 days prior to your event; 50% of total booking fee retained, or full credit (minus deposit amount) to use within 12 months.
2-5 days prior to your event; 50% of total booking fee retained.
0-2 days prior to your event; 100% of total booking fee retained, unless otherwise stated in writing by Townsville Inflatables due to unforeseen circumstances.
As mentioned, we understand that life happens, and will do our best to work with you around your individual circumstances, so please reach out to us at the earliest opportunity if you feel there may be any changes to your event date.
~ Wet Season ~
North Queensland can experience extreme weather conditions throughout the period November-April, with February typically receiving the most amount of rainfall. For this reason, we strongly encourage that you consider an indoor venue to hold your event, as we can NOT set up your castle in the rain, or where there is predicted rain or weather events. This is not only to maintain our equipment, but to also ensure the safety of you, your family, and ourselves.
Our inflatables, and cinema, cannot be used during weather conditions such as, but not limited to, heavy rainfall, storms, flooding, high winds, and cyclones. In the event of any extreme weather situation, we reserve the right to cancel your booking, and our wet weather cancellation policy will apply.
If WE determine that your booking cannot go ahead due to adverse weather, we will offer you a 100% credit to use for a future booking, within 12 months (1 reschedule only).
If YOU determine that your booking cannot go ahead due to weather conditions, despite our advice, the ‘Wet Season’ cancellation policy will not apply, and our regular cancellation policy shall be followed.
